Attacus Atlas moth

Tue 25th October 2011

This moth is the largest in the world. It also earns the nickname the ‘Snake’s Head Moth’ because both tips of it’s forewings look like snake’s heads.

Matt says...

Imagine one of these Moths flying around your 100W light bulb! It would give you a fright as it’s the size of your open palm!

Claire says...

This moth was seriously huge, it has a wingspan of 8 inches!
