Fire skills

Wed 12th October 2011

Aswell as skipping, you could watch one of the many Thai guys juggiling with fire sticks. The effect on a sunset is awesome.

Somewhere in that mass of fire there is a man. Let’s hope he isn’t flammable!

Full Moon Beach Party

Wed 12th October 2011

Once on Koh Pan Nagn, we wandered through the many stalls selling buckets and bright headbands. However nothing could prepare us for the sight when we got to the beach.

Matt

Matt says...

So there were a few people on the beach.. that’s an understatement actually. There were thousands of people!

Claire

Claire says...

I’ve never seen so many revellers on one beach before! It was insane, stall after stall shouting at you to buy their booze. And your pick of the DJs with each one spinning some tunes.

Our hostel is off the beaten track and very, very quiet. So we’ll be catching up on some zzzzzzzs. :)

Hiding Stingray

Wed 5th October 2011

As we were snorkeling around the beach, we noticed a very shy Stingray hiding underneath some coral.

Matt

Matt says...

I cut my finger on the coral trying to get a photo of this little beast! The things I do for a photo…

Claire says...

First time I’ve ever seen a real Stingray! It was very large and flat , ust chilling, being a Stingray.

Rawa Beach Pano

Wed 5th October 2011

Here’s a view of the entire beach. You can see Rawa Islands in the middle and Rawa Beach to the right of the photo.

Claire was frowning really. She was getting bored of me trying to take a panoramic photo in the sea while being battered back and forth by the waves. I always like a challenge!

Claire

Claire says...

I’m not frowning in this picture, I am blinded by the sun!
