Hello Angel fish

Sat 22nd October 2011

Exploring the coral at 12-14 metres was one of my favourite parts of both diving courses. Meeting so many colourful, tropical fish along the way, it’s breathtakingly beautiful.

Just like a scene from Finding Nemo, this photo makes me smile everytime I look at it.

Big fish, little fish

Sat 22nd October 2011

Our new dive site today did not disappoint. Large scholes of fish glided past us, one even allowed me to swim through it.

Before diving, I was blissfully unaware just how beautiful the underwater world is. Now I want to see more of it and I understand why diving is so incredibly addictive.

Bump Head Parrot Fish

Wed 5th October 2011

Our next stop was Rawa Beach and we saw a few of these rather large Bump Head Parrot fish swimming around the coral.

It’s hard to judge how big this fish was from the photo, but trust me it was big! I’d estimate around 1 metre long!

Beautiful coral

Wed 5th October 2011

The first point we went to had some pretty beautiful coral and so much of it! It rose from the ocean bed in great cones, with fragile edges soften by the water.

This photo just reminds be of those fish screen savers you can get for your computer, only much more realistic. It’s like I’m swimming inside a monitor!

Fish in your hand

Sun 2nd October 2011

We were allowed to swim for as long as we liked, investigating the coral and lagoons. It’s more tiring than you think though!

Who would have thought that fish love bread so much! They could smell it from meters away and would swarm around you eating it from your hands.
