It’s our first Christmas in Australia! Yay! This morning we took a short trip to Pottsville Beach which is minutes from Min’s Grandparents place.

Well this is a different view compared to my usual Christmas. Walking along the beach on the 25th of December, it certainly didn’t feel like Christmas! Stunning beaches all along the east of Australia. Beach for as far as the eye could see!
This beach was deserted. The waves were 2 or 3 metres high too, the result of the Cyclone off the East Coast of Australia. Walking on the beach? The best Christmas pressie ever!
We walked down to Martin Place for today’s Remembrance Day service for Australia’s War veterans and their families.

This is the very impressive war memorial in the heart of Sydney. It’s so big it even has an exhibition centre inside. Was interesting to walk around it for an hour or so.
The service was lovely, but we bet the streets of Sydney weren’t as packed as London’s would have been.
