The fountain square is very elegant at night. It looks completely different when lit up with red lights against the red walls of the buildings.
The cave was gigantic. Inside the rock was smoothed and forced into thousands of different shapes – lit up by coloured flood lights. It was beautiful.
This photo took a bit of fiddling on the camera. I’m really getting used to using the DSLR in all these different conditions.
This hole in the cave wall leading to the outside world allowed a small beam of sunlight in, creating a pretty projection inside the cave.
Hoi An is filled with old shop fronts and cute backstreets dating back to the 17th Century. There are also lanterns everywhere, which look particulary pretty at night.
