Christmas Kayak

Sun 25th December 2011

Every morning Min’s Nan takes the dogs out on her kayak, and Christmas morning was no exception!

I’ve never seen dogs so keen to sit on a kayak before. As soon as you walked to the edge of the water they were by your side wanting to go back in. Very cute indeed!

This is so cute! The dogs love jumping onto the kayak and chilling while they get paddled down the canal.

Bath by the beach

Fri 9th December 2011

Finally the sun peeped out today so we took advantage and caught a bus to Bronte Beach. We noticed these sea salt pools, designed for people to swim or lie in.

Salt water swimming pools right next to the beach. What a great idea! One of these would be great in Blackpool! :)

What a great idea. The Aussies definitely know how to work beach facilities.

Pair me up

Sun 13th November 2011

This sculpture was made of lots of pairs of people, joined together. It sat very still, right on the edge of the cliff top, with a beautiful backdrop of the Pacific behind.

This frame by the edge of the sea was just begging to be lunged in. We got a few stares when we posed, I wonder why?

Lunge on a random cliff top? Tick!

Who left that pin there?

Sun 13th November 2011

Many of the exhibits were a bit tongue and check, as demonstrated by this pin placed into one of the cracks in the weathered stone.

Matt says...

I like this one! Very creative.

Claire says...

You can get a sense of how big the pin was by looking at the man next to it!
